Established in 2013, KGL is a machine shop that does custom precision parts. We serve medical, robotics, aerospace, semiconductor, automation, and similar industries. Materials we work with regularly include cast iron, steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, stainless steel, and engineering plastics.

Quality control
We have a HEXAGON CMM, OLYMPUS and KEYENCE microscopes, projectors, digital micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators. 15 people work in QC, checking material coming in and finished parts going out. KGL is certified to ISO9001: 2015, ISO13485:2016, and BV AS9100D. We also have ESG and Dun & Bradstreet registration.

Machining and delivery
Our shop has over 80+ machines. That includes 5-axis and 4-axis machining centers, vertical and horizontal CNCs, dual-spindle turn-mill machines, CNC lathes, grinders, milling machines, and wire EDM. Maximum part size we can handle is 2500*1500*800mm, and we hold tolerances to 0.005mm. Our production system helps us track orders and shipments.

Engineering and Technical Capabilities
Our technical team consists of approximately 90 professionals, among whom 10 full-time engineers are responsible for drawing detailing and process design for order procedures, ensuring the precise transformation of complex parts from design drawings to finished products.

Manage material sourcing and maintain backup suppliers
We have regular suppliers for materials like stainless, titanium, cast iron, and engineering plastics. If something urgent comes up, we can adjust schedules and respond quickly to keep production running. The industry is shifting toward more complex parts in smaller quantities, with shorter lead times. Customers also want suppliers who can work with them earlier in the process. So we are putting more focus on rapid prototyping for non-standard parts, and getting involved earlier when customers are still working out designs—especially in medical, semiconductor, and aerospace. Production Capabilities Introduction
Our KGL factory has over 80 high-precision machine equipment, including top imported equipment: Imported MAZAK、 Taiwan machines, and basically covers  leading domestic brands. We handle the full production process in-house — from rough machining to precision finishing. Whether you need prototype making or batch production, we have the right machines and shifts to support your project.
Our Core Strengths
We hold precision to ±0.005mm, thanks to our imported MAZAK and 5-axis machines (INTEGREX i-250H, VARIAXIS C-600). They machine complex surfaces in one setup, no repeated positioning needed. We also have a large gantry machine (2500×1500×800mm) for big-size parts.

  High-performance: titanium alloy, high-temperature alloy
  Engineering plastics: POM, PEI, PET
Just tell us your material, and we’ll provide the right tools and machining parameters.
Quality Control
We use imported CMM, KEYENCE vision system, 2D measuring equipment, spectrometer, and height gauge for inspection. Every order goes through 
full-process inspects: incoming inspection, 100% first-piece inspect, in-process checks, sampling, and final full inspection. We make sure no defective parts leave our shop.

We don’t just machine from drawings — we also work from samples or join early in design. Our experience helps you choose better materials and improve structures, avoiding designs that are hard or too costly to make.
We do assembly and testing in-house, so we can quickly give feedback to speed up prototype iterations. Our 5-axis machines are perfect for complex, high-precision parts like robot joints and frames.

Aerospace Parts
We are AS9100D certified by BV. We have solid experience in small deep holes and multi-axis complex surfaces in titanium and high-temperature alloys. Our production is fully traceable: material batches, machining settings, and operators are all recorded. This meets aerospace requirements and makes cooperation smooth.

Precision Medical Parts
We hold ISO13485 certification, with all processes managed under medical quality standards. We are good at small-batch, multi-item orders. Even for one or two mixed prototype parts, we arrange production flexibly to keep delivery on time with no delays.

Our story begins back in 2000.

KGL’s founder, Jason Hu, graduated in 1999 with a major in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing. After graduation, he chose come to Shenzhen. With his professional knowledge and hard work, he soon became a senior executive in a large company, enjoying a stable and promising life.


Then came the 2008 global financial crisis.Many of his colleagues and young people just starting their careers lost their jobs.This experience had a deep effect on Jason.He realized that living a good life alone was not enough.He made up his mind to build a responsible business, one that could offer stability and security to more people. Dr. Jason Hu has been in mechanical manufacturing for 25 years—started on the shop floor, worked his way up to the top. He knows the whole production chain inside out, from the first sample run all the way to full-scale mass production. Back in 1999, he started with a Hong Kong-listed manufacturer
Back in 1999, he started with a Hong Kong-listed manufacturer. Over the years, he wore a lot of hats—quality engineer, process engineer, production manager, and eventually moved into leadership. That kind of climb gives you a real feel for what happens at every stage of production. On the technical side, he's led process development for some pretty demanding stuff: medical implants machined to within 0.002mm, aerospace structural parts—lots of work with five-axis machining and precision inspection. When he moved into management, he helped build a lean production system that pushed overall equipment efficiency to 85% and chopped lead times by 30%. Later on, those results became the backbone of his own company.

When it comes to quality, he keeps things grounded with a practical system built around five areas
people, machines, materials, methods, and the work environment. For raw materials—things like titanium alloys, stainless steel, other critical stocks—he set up a three-tier inspection process that includes full chemical analysis. Incoming material quality? 100% right now. On the machinery side, he's got monthly precision checks scheduled for all the Mazak machining centers from Japan, all under a preventive maintenance plan. Equipment uptime holds steady above 98%. He also pushes DFM analysis—basically reviewing designs early to make sure they're easy to manufacture—and it's helped customers cut costs. One medical client trimmed part costs by 18% just from process tweaks. On the floor, every operator holds skill certifications—CNC senior tech, things like that. Critical steps are double-checked by different people, and human error stays under 0.5%.

In 2013, Hu started KGL
The company began with just two used machines. Now it runs 80 pieces of high-end gear—five-axis machining centers, precision test gear, the works—and fixed assets are over ¥40 million. Annual capacity covers everything from one-off prototypes to runs of a million pieces for more than 500 customers. Production runs on a PND system, so prototyping happens in 72 hours and batch jobs turn around in seven days. On-time delivery for medical and aerospace work stays at or above 98%. Long-term customers come from Europe, the U.S., and Israel—lots of them in medical and aerospace. Repeat business is over 80%, including several Top 50 global firms.

He led work on specs for small-batch precision parts and took part in discussions around Shenzhen's criteria for recognizing specialized and innovative firms. Looking forward, he's steering KGL toward smarter production. Right now, they're testing AI-based visual inspection and digital twin modeling—pushing machining tolerances from the usual 0.01mm down toward 0.0003mm for clients in fields like robotics and advanced automation.
