Large flanged cylindrical parts are currently facing a processing challenge of "size and accuracy in conflict": the larger the size, the greater the impact of thermal deformation, clamping force and tool deflection. This article systematically explains how KGL can achieve a precision of ±0.005mm through the combination of large-scale turning (CAK50135, positioning accuracy ±0.005mm, roundness ≤0.0025mm), turning-milling compound (Mazak INTEGREX, Jinshang dual-spindle), five-axis machining and gantry (2500×1500×800mm) equipment. The article also provides a material selection table for aluminum / stainless steel / titanium / engineering plastics based on application scenarios, and presents a case of 600 sets of mass trial production for an industrial automation customer, demonstrating the guarantee capability from sample production to batch production consistency (fluctuation < 0.005mm, one-time qualification rate 98%+). At the end of the article, there are three delivery options for prototypes / engineering batches / trial production, design cost reduction suggestions, as well as the initiation process for NDA advance, 24-48 hours DFM quotations.
