For thin-wall and easily deformed structures, KGL uses multiple stress-relief processes, such as annealing, and uses vacuum suction or dedicated modular fixtures for workholding. During machining, high-speed cutting and small depth-of-cut parameters are used to help control part deformation.
For deep-hole structures, KGL can use internal-coolant deep-hole drilling and EDM equipment to control dimensional accuracy and geometric form. KGL has over 80 high-end CNC machines, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers, CNC turning and milling equipment, grinding machines, gantry machining centers, and wire EDM equipment. The company provides milling, turning, turn-milling, multi-axis machining, precision grinding, and wire EDM services.
